You see, when ASUS engineers are still struggling to add 4 more DIMM slots on their X79 products, SuperMicro engineers have already made it (8 DIMM slots) possible using a different board layout. This has won lots of praise from the users in professional field here in Taiwan. These technical gurus are reluctant to buy new system boards equipped with less DIMM slots than the Intel X58 chipset they’re currently using.
